Part of my job of being an Army Officer requires me to be fit however I also enjoy setting myself some additional challenges.

My current challenge is running 5km every day.

From the 1st January 2020 I have been running a minimum of 5km every single day, a lot of my runs are 5-7km in length however some are significantly longer, I always try and included one long run a week if possible. Fingers crossed for no injuries…

My last running challenge was the ‘Monopoly Ultra‘ which I had to postpone due to injury and then when I attempted it I didn’t finish due to not having completed enough long runs in training (note to self: don’t cut corners in training).
